Important note : it\'s ubuntu 14.04.5

The position of tray-icon-indicator on top left of screen prevents from hitting close button of other running app\'s.

Hi! You have those Unity problems mentioned on OMGUbuntu? I am currently downloading Ubuntu Xenial and will try to reproduce your problem

If you preview your post, an editor opens up, that\'s correct. But on top of the page you see your post (See attachment)

So, I installed a fresh Xenial and the results are better than expected. :-)

Menu there,
tray icon there

But I found an old post, that may be important for you. Some people told me, they had issues that the menubar is not available. There is a package called
appmenu-qt5
You have to deinstall this. With Gnome 3 and Unity there were issues.

Have a look at this post

Ok, very nice ! So probably QT and gtk versions are to blame on 14.04.
