Hi! Thanks for the issue but please post in English in the future.

I\'ve never experienced a muffled sound and I wonder about it since a lot of multimedia software in Linux uses gstreamer as I do. Maybe your problem can be solved with the equalizer? What version of Mint do you use?

Mint 13.
Ich habe so ziemlich alle Player auf meinem Rechner laufen lassen. VLC, Audacious, etc, pp, usw, usf.
Bei keinem musste ich zunächst am Equalizer drehen, der Ton stimmte von Anfang an. Wieso soll ich also einen Player benutzen, bei dem ich erst stundenlang den Equalizer einstellen muss, bevor der Klang erträglich ist?

You don\'t have to use it. I have never heard from anybody to configure the player for hours before it\'s usable.

The idea behind equalizer was, that a setting like \"Bass\" could be the reason for your bad sound.

Edit: Next german entry will be deleted and entries similar to your second one are a reason to kick you out of here
